What is EMRIC?
Discover below what EMRIC is and how this organisation collaborates with a wide range of partners from the Meuse-Rhine Euregion.
Partnership
EMRIC is a partnership between emergency services in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. The abbreviation stands for Euregio Meuse-Rhine Incident Response and Crisis Management. In short, EMRIC ensures that the fire departments, ambulance services and other emergency services from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany can work together.
Our partners
Cross-border cooperation in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion is only possible thanks to a strong network of reliable and committed partners who work daily to provide residents with the best possible care and assistance.
Treaties
Working together across borders requires clear and reliable agreements. Within EMRIC, these are formalized in treaties and agreements between the partners involved from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. These legal agreements form the basis for joint aid and mutual assistance across borders.
